Charity Run

Running for a good Cause

When Marcus was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in February 2011, that moment threatened his and his familiy’s life and all their future plans. But despite all the bad predictions: Marcus lives, and he lives very well. Moreover, his family stands together even closer than before and fights the tumour together.

Martina, always impressed by her brother’s optimism, wanted to share a piece of it with others. For that reason, in 2013 she organised the first Wedeler Auwiesenlauf. The charity run took place in Wedel in favour of the German Brain Tumor Association. Anyone, whether affected or not, was invited to take part to spread hope and to support the important work of the German Brain Tumor Association.
